    Hi All,

So I went to try a few Titleist Hybrids to replace my 3 iron and tried the 21 and 24 degree.  Both clubs hit great but the 21 degree was a little too long and the 24 degree a little too short of my 3 iron distance.  Given that the lofts are adjustable, wondering if it makes sense to adjust the loft accordingly to match the distance or to mess around with shaft length?  Has anybody dealt with this issue?  I am open to new ideas as well.  Thanks in advance!

    Hi Blair,

I would suggest adjusting the loft of either head before changing shaft length. If you adjust the shaft length, you may no longer make solid contact. In addition, there is no direct correlation between shaft length and distance. For example, if you were to shorten a club by 1/2", that does not necessarily mean it will go 5 yards shorter.

    Hope this helps.
