#915Stories Was just thinking about sharing about my new 915D2 10.5 Rogue Black. My Sunday 4some has been giving me a little grief since I got it 2 weeks ago. (that's a good thing) I had not intended to get a new driver this year. I had gotten my hands on a 913 D2 last year, replacing my 910 D2 Bassara 50. I was hitting it long enough and my FIRs was respectable. But as spring wore on 2 of my buds got/changed drivers. One an upgraded TM and the other a complete switch to Cally. Now I'm still making fairways but I'm 20 yards back. The same issue that plagued me with TM and Cally has them. Great Distance-can be a little difficult to control. So off to Golf Store I go. We spend almost an hour and a half on the simulator with my 913,915,png, Cally, TM and even a swoosh. No Go. We went back to the 915 D2 and went to playing with Shafts and adjustments. Settled on the D2 10.5 with a Rogue Black 60. Neutral setting works! Now for the results.. I can't say I'm out driving anyone on a reg basis, but I can report that I caught up with the boys.. and in the fairway. This is a big deal to me, as I hit 4 more greens than usual each day, The last 9 holes shot 5 under my handicap. The Rogue Shaft is a big part of this. I'd say 10 to 15yds worth. The lower torque and how it feels coming through the ball. Stable. Solid hits are huge The club has taken Major pressure off my iron game and will help with girs. The new tech is worth the money. Brice, Back in Nov. I was fitted for a 915D2 driver. The improvement in fairways hit has increased. My misses are not so very far off line either. Last weekend I had the owner of the club, I belong to make me up a 3 wood. I liked it so much I bought the same club out of stock. I really like to "try before buy". My plan is to replace the remaining 913's with 915's( a 7 wood and two hybrids). Thank the R&D team for me, for making such a great product. GREATFUL & HAPPY steve b

I had my chance to go to Manchester last summer, and was fitted for 913H 24/27. The 915s weren't yet available for fitting, yet . Went to a Titleist demo this spring thinking about the 915F 16.5, and to compare it to my 910F 21 that has been solid in my bag. While there, I tried the 915H 3. Wow, it was easier to hit and longer than the 21F. I had the 21F because in previous editions, the 21Hs didn't get it done. I had to get it, and am only still thinking about the 16.5. On par 5s, I've considered GIR+1 a success. I'm consistently setting up my third shot to attack the greens. That 915H is owning my second shot on the par 5s and paying dividends every round.

I was a little apprehensive about switching from my 913D2 to the new 915D2 driver, i was fitted on flight scope and the numbers don't lie. I picked up 12 yards no joke. My 913 has Fujikura Motore F3 (stiff) and was stock length 45" the 915 has the Diamana S+ (stiff) and is a hair shorter. I really thought i would not like the diamana shaft looking the torque differences. Well i was wrong and the data proved it. My launch is higher with the diamana my shot dispersion got tighter i'm in heaven. Since i saw such positive results with the 915 i purchased a 5 wood kicked my R7 TP 15° out of the bag. Now i have to figure out if i want a true 3 wood or 4 wood?. I'm very very pleased with my decision.

I purchased the 915F 3 wood and 915H 3 Hybrid and they are the BEST, and I mean absolute BEST clubs I have ever hit or purchased.  I am so impressed with the quality of the product, and the performance is just off the charts.  I've shot my lowest scores this season in tournaments since switching.

Have you ever been sitting at 180 yards out on a 500 yard par 5 laying one in the middle of the fairway ... Not once but for the second time in a round. After you hit the green for the second time your playing partner says "are you putting for eagle again"? I was an 11 handicap swinging a TM RBZ driver ... Getting a distance of 270 yards and having trouble keeping it in the fairway. I started the season with a 915D3 with an Aldila 60-3.4-S shaft ... Added 30 yards to my driver. Just played 9 holes on Monday hit my first 5 fairways. The only other thing I changed is my ball ... From a Pro V to a Pro V1x. My handicap is 9.9 and trending lower! Nice job Titleist!

I am absolutely thrilled with my new 915 Driver. I had become very frustrated with a lack of distance from my old driver that was my newest club in the bag, but worst performing club in the bag. It became evident it had to go, when I played in a scramble and older (senior aged) players with higher handicaps were hitting hit 25-40 yards past me. On all other shots I was hitting 2 less clubs than they were. I went to the PGA show in Orlando this past Jan. and got fitted for my 915, on the range at Orange County I knew right there the 915 was a better and hotter driver than what I had. The Titleist fitting specialist knew exactly what to put me into, in terms of loft and shaft. The difference is night and day. I received my driver right before a trip south and rounds 2 & 3 with it were in Champions Tour pro-am's. Both of my pro's were impressed with how I hit the ball. As the weather warms up here and I have bought some new Pro-V1'xs for the season, the distance I have not had in a few years is back. I am hitting 1-2 clubs less into greens, and the handicap is going back in the right direction. My new 915 Driver has made a major difference in my scores, and I'm back enjoying hitting the big stick again. Anyone considering a new driver this year, should at least test a 915 before making a final decision and purchase. You will be glad you did. #915Stories

I'd love to share my #915Stories. I have always been a consistently average golfer. However, I recently bought the new 915D3 driver and put it straight in my bag! I have never had a driver that provided such forgiveness & feel. I am hitting more fairways than ever and in turn, that is helping me hit more greens in regulation. My scores are slowly starting to decrease! I can attribute this to my new found confidence with my 915D3 in my hands off the tee. I'm 67 yrs old and a disabled vet with foot, shoulder, right hip and lower back injuries.  I've experimented a lot with different makes of Drivers looking for more consistency with distance.  I went back to Titleist last year buying and playing a 913D2 driver and 913F 3 wood, and two 913H hybrids.  I experimented with two different driver shafts and settled on the Bassara red shafts.  My 913D2 was 10.5 degrees.  All of these clubs had the matching red Bassara R-flex shafts.  I grew up in Oklahoma in the wind so I am a very low ball hitter and a hooker.  This year I traded my 913D2 for a 12 degree 915D2.  By doing this I've added about 12 yards to my drives.  This is significant considering my injuries resulting in slower club head speed.  I very much like the Titleist fairways and hybrids as I can adjust them to maximize my game.  In addition to picking up the 12 yards, the increased loft of my driver shots have allowed me to play some of the holes on my golf course different because now I can go over some trees that I had to steer around before.  I love a clean looking pear-shaped driver and think that Titleist's 915 series has the best aesthetics out there.  I highly recommend this driver to all seniors out there looking for more distance and consistency.  These clubs are not just for low handicap players!  Fitted properly, they can work superbly for any senior golfer out there.  I have a friend about my age but 5'6" tall that was recently fitted into a much shorter higher lofted Titleist driver and he picked up 25 yards with a shortened 42" driver.  Longer is not necessarily better.

I'm anxiously awaiting the next generation of Titleist game improvement irons.  I'm told they will come out in Nov 2015.  My sincere hope is that Titleist will offer a softer shaft with a lower kick point in steel in addition to graphite.  I'm somewhere between the R flex XP95 shafts currently offered and a Senior flex in irons.  If Titleist does not offer a softer shaft with a lower kick point in steel, I will have to go to another brand to get what I'm looking for in steel.

Please take note, Titleist.  I know a lot of seniors would like to see a softer steel shaft offering in your game improvement irons.

I had missed a couple of years with injuries before getting fitted for the 915 d2 and the  915 hybrids last fall. The difference was amazing. Te ball  jumps off the club face. I have recomended to friends who have used Pngs for years.

#915Stories The 915f fairway woods are in one word "amazing!" Yesterday, on a par 5, sitting in the fairway 246 yards from the center of the green, I pulled out my 15 degree stick. Flushed the shot. It took off like a rocket, almost seeing it shift into a second gear. The ball landed next the green, pin-high. Chipped on. Made the bird. 

This 915f is staying in the bag for a looong time.

Mine was popping at the course today and regardless what it said on the monitor for me when I was fitted, it really performs on the course.  That is where I noticed the difference.

Here is my 915 story: Yesterday, I broke 80 for the first time (shooting a 76). My bag has 915D2 12 degree, 712 AP1s, and 913 fairways and hybrid, Scotty putter. I hit every fairway. I'm 55 and have only been playing for 12 years. I picked the game up late and tried all the name brands like cally, png, TM, etc. Titleist clubs are the only clubs I've played that I totally trust and know they can get the job done if I do. I'm 5'9" and my biggest challenge in golf is distance off the tee. I was between 200-210 last year and now I'm at 225-245 with the 915. The 915 is the first driver I can hit high drives with or I can hit low runner if I want. Best driver I've ever picked up. trust it completely.

I first tried the 915s last fall, and really enjoyed the feel, performance and flight, and the sparkling metallic finish was stunning. I ordered my 915D2 right after Christmas, and have loved playing with it. The Diamana D+ 60 is a wonderful shaft and is so stable for being light (64 grams).

Where I REALLY found unbelievable performance has been in the F and H - I bought the 15* F with the S+ 80 Stiff tipped 3/4", and I've never had a 3 wood that felt this good, sounded this good and went so far. First strike was 275 off the tee, and I'm used to hitting my driver 280-290. The H as been unbelievable, too - I bought an 18* with the S+ 90 and it feels so great and is easy to hit while having minimal offset. First strike was 235 off the tee, and was in love. Almost every time I'm 220-235 in the fairway I have the confidence to put it on the green!

i play a 915-D2 w a 47" 50 gram Stiff Diamana shaft.  9.5 Degrees in C4 position.  My natural ball flight is a draw and since using it exclusively now with the new Pro-V1X I've added 20-30 yes to my drive.  I traded in my 913-D2 with a 47" shaft .  The new balls are a club longer and the driver adds another club.  My big drives with the 913-D2 touched 270. I have hit several over 300 yds since making the switch.  Oh by the way, I'm 50 so it's nice to outdrive the youngsters again!  Driving tip...  Tee the ball low - my ball teed is below the driver head (no ball showing). Read that on here with the 913-D2.  Good luck!

I always told myself, "if I can just learn to chip, learn to putt and learn to hit my irons, I would be dangerous."  I always thought that driving was not my problem, because I thought I drove straight enough, long enough and often enough - until I spent about an hour with a Titleist technician who used Trackman technology to study my ball speed, spin rate and trajectory while hitting with different specs of 915 drivers in search for optimum combination of head type, loft angle, and shaft.  The final product, Titleist 915 D3 driver with 8.5 degree loft has been nothing but phenomenal. From the thud of a ball compressing and shooting off the face, trajectory low enough to bore through the wind but high enough to produce optimum arc resulting in directional control and added distance, which in honesty I didn't think was possible.  This driver has proven every word of their slogan - " Drive with confidence."  Ever since I got this driver, I honestly can't remember hooking a single drive.  I weak slice every once in a while when I get lazy and don't finish the swing, hitting off center, but even that goes a mile.  This driver has given me so much confidence to drive straighter and farther, even for the holes I used to pull out my hybrid and fairway woods to be in the middle of the fairway, I now hit my driver because I know I can hit it just as straight and just as often - only difference, I am closer to the hole for the next shot.  

Hello Team Titleist, I have an adamant golfer that loves the Titleist equipment. The day the 915 Driver cam out I think it was 3 Nov 2014, I was at dicks getting sized up for one. I walked out the door the with 915 D3 8.5* and Stiff shaft with a 14.5* 3 Wood. I love the product, directly off to the range I could see a stable swing plane when using the clubs. It seemed as if I was able to move to the driver more consistently to control the natural that I hit. I was also able to make minor adjustments in my grip to hit a decent fade if needed as well. The pure sweet sound that the 915 offers is pretty ecstatic as well. I am very pleased with my new 915 Driver and 3 Wood and I cant wait for the 916 AP2s to hit the market, please fill us in Team Titleist when they are coming out.

4 years ago, I was fitted for png i15 with a stiff Diamani White stiff shaft.  I pounded that driver for 4 years until the head came off in May 2015.  I went to Golf Galaxy and spent an hour getting fitted for a new driver.  After hitting everything under the sun, the 915D3 with Black Rogue shaft was far (pun intended) and away the best performing driver.  Not going to lie, I was partial & bias to png simply based on past performances and results.  What we found was interesting, but not only did my spin go from 3800-4200 with png G30 to 2300-2600 with the 915D3.  My height was lowered 13 feet.  My average drives with the png G30 were carrying 255 and rolling out to 266-70.  The 915D3 was carrying 265 yards and rolling out to 280+.  My average swing speed was 103 MPH.

The trackman has no clue that I've changed clubs, so the data is real and unbiased.  I purchased the club and did something I've never done before at my golf club.  On the first hole, I flew the bunker on right side of the fairway 275 yard carrying and the ball rolled to 93 yards of the green (past the cart path).  The length of the 1st hole is 386 yards.  My playing partners mouths were on the ground.  4th hole is 484 yards uphill and I hit my drive down the middle and I had 200 yards left.  6th hole is 405 yards and I had 97 yards left.  8th hole is 544 yard par 5 and after my drive I had 241 yards left...almost got on with 3 wood, but it landed in greenside bunker.  Never have I been able to give it go or potential of getting on in 2.

The rest of that first round with my new #915Stories were spectacular.  I've been playing with the #915Stories the past month and have 5 scores in the 70's.  My handicap is currently 4, but was 6 before the driver purchase.  It has made that much difference in my game.

#915 Stories

Here's my 915 story. A week ago, I was able to get my long awaited fitting for a 915 3 wood from Ted Bacci, NorCal Titleist Rep which I described in the Club Fitting section here. For Father's Day, my son in-law, best friend going on 27 years now and myself played the Pacific Grove Golf Links. On the first Par 5 on the Front 9, I had 220 yards to the pin. Out came my 915F 16.5 wood. Confident? Boy was I confident that I had finally gotten a 3 wood that I could love. I take a nice smooth swing and let the 915 do its magic and my shot landed on the green, something that I could only have imagined when I was hitting a "cough, cough" other brand name wood. 

It's not hype, it's a Titleist!
