816 Sure Fit Adjustment

    I notice that the Sure Fit on the 816s are adjustable only 1* not the 1.5* like the 910, 913 & 915s. Does that mean the face angle will only adjust 1* also? So no more A4 settings for example? Will there be a new "chart" for the 816s? thanks

    Hi Mark,  Since irons are adjustable to 2°, we designed the new adaptor for the 816 hybrids to reflect that as well.  The hybrids are adjustable to 2° total.  Instead of moving 3/4° at a time, they move 1° to a total of 2°.­

    I like that idea a lot better.never really understood 3/4" to 1.5". I like a full number. Although I guess that means the surefit isn't interchangeable with the older models? That part kinda sucks I guess but no biggie. I love my 913s

    Thanks, Cathi. So they can adjust to 1* strong (19* to 18*) or 1* weak (19* to 20*) I assume that the face angle opens or closes accordingly??? so the 913H shafts will not fit the 816s?

    You can use the older 913/915 shafts in the new 816H heads. The adjustments will be in 0.75° increments, not 1°.
