By default, my bag is becoming all Titleist by comparison with other brands. As of now, I'm addressing the mid and long irons. I'll be needing help with technology and I'm looking to Team Titleist and staff for answers. I have tried the 915h and liked it, but there is now the 816H1&2. I have not tried any of the T-MBs, but I have tried the 712U and I also liked it then. ..... I'd like to add and continue on with the 716T-MBs and/or the 816H, but I'd like to know which of the two models are more forgiving in its least lofted club. Could anyone who knows it well provide me some information or comparisons. ... Thank you in advance.

Noel, I have found that the hybrid is a bit more forgiving than the T-MB. But with that forgiveness you lose a little of the ability to shape your shots.

I play a hybrid (21°) as my 3 iron for forgiveness but keep a T-MB 4 iron in the bag to be able to hit some more "creative" recovery shots. I also find the T-MB easier to fade, draw and know down when I need to.

Rick, this is awesome and it's exactly the things I wanted to know about the two types of clubs. I hope to try them soon and hopefully chart some numbers. Thank you and I'll be in touch.

In the rough I prefer the hybrid.  In the fairway I prefer the iron.  The hybrid is very versatile and that's the one I"m packing.  The new T-MB Is an excellent club.  I like it over the 712U, it just feels right...Enjoy regardless... :)
