This winter I too moved across to Titleist, and purchased the AP2 716. I went for the 3-pw option as I found that the 2 hybrid wasn't going any further than my 5 iron, so didn't want to loose the distance of the 3 and 4 irons. my consistency has improved but I'm just finding it hard to adjust to the distances of each club, once I get to grips I think these will be fantastic. the few rounds I've played have all been in the high 70's but given I'm a 10 handicapper they have all been under par! I'm very happy given this and can see signs that my game will be improving lots in 2016.

Very interesting scores for a ten handicapper....a great improvement to be shooting under par....... QUOTE:  "the few rounds I've played have all been in the high 70's but given I'm a 10 handicapper they have all been under par!".......I might have to upgrade from 714s to 716s if there is that much of an improvement factor........I am a solid 10 and wish I could shoot consistently under par.......

I think he means NET par. If he means gross, I want to know what I'm doing wrong with my new AP2 716s. I love them, my scores are truly lower since I got them, but NOT under gross par. I am about a 10 (just a few points under) and have shot 6 or 7 scores in the 70s since I got them in late October (albeit from the white tees). Best I have hit my irons, maybe ever. Could it be due to these new AP2s? I had AP2 712s before, but did not hit them nearly as well as I hit these.

[/quote]Guess I am not used to talking in net scores.  I have the 714s and play in the 70s and 80s which is normal for a 10 hdcp and a handicap balances it out.  We have our good and bad days, going on 70 years old your game wanders like your mind.  Best round I have had with these is a 69.  Recently went birdie, birdie, birdie, hole in one on first four holes.  Things happen.  Ended up shooting 75.  When I hit the AP2s XP95 stiff 300 shafts there is nothing like them, but at times I feel like something more forgiving would be helpful at my age.   Guess my next step would be looking at the AP1s.  Have to come to realize that I cannot hit the ball as far as I could five years ago and need to hit that extra club.  Age carries baggage as well, like, shoulder, neck, and back pains.  They always come into play and always at the wrong time.  Guess I could take the clubs to my fitter and have them juiced a degree or two to make my ego feel better, but David can't fix those pains.  Life is good.  It is great to be retired and be able to play golf four days a week and playing Titleist clubs makes it more fun and golf should be fun.
