Well..... I have finally completed my entire set of clubs with ALL Titleist clubs by finally adding the 816 H2 Hybrid to my bag. I recently added it to the bag after getting fit by Titleist fitter, Kyle Conkright, at the Jim McLean Golf School in Ft. Worth. Awesome fitter! I added the hybrid to the bag right after he fitted me and I received the new 716 CB's. I also replaced my SM5's with the new Vokey SM6's just before the irons. I am truly happy to have my set complete and all carried by my brand new 4UP StaDry bag that came in.

Here is my set up: Driver: 915 D3- 8.5 degree 3 Wood: 915 Fd- 15 degree Hybrid: 816 H2- 19 degree Irons: 716 CB's- 4-PW Wedges: Vokey SM 6's- 50, 56 (Bent to 55), 60 degrees Putter: Scotty Cameron Newport Beach (Custom) Bag: 4UP StaDry Gear: Titleist White Leather Head Covers (D, Fw), Umbrella, Rain Hood FootJoy StaSof glove FootJoy Icons, DryJoy Tour and DryJoy Tour Casual

I strongly believe in Titleist equipment and trust all my clubs and gear for the quality and performance it brings when playing casual, competitive, and tournament rounds. I look forward to adding the new driver to the bag when released to the public and the new styles of the FootJoy DryJoy Casuals to my collection. Keep up the phenomenal work!

Awesome set up you have. I hit the 816H1's the other day and love the feel they have. Felt more like a iron shot instead of a wood coming off the face......They are on my list to get.

I currently need to add hybrid & fairway woods but I'm waiting until I get fitted for my new 716 Ap1 irons then I'll go and get the rest of the clubs gapped according to distance of the irons. I currently have a 915D2 & AP1 712's with 2 SM5 Vokey's. I too will probably go to the SM6's at the time,

    Enjoy your set

Thanks, I love the set. You can see my reply to this discussion and see what my fitting was like and how my gapping in clubs helped me. The SM6's really did play better, especially when I was trying to flight the ball lower. My SM5 50 degree would always jump up the club face and spin too much and I ended up short. The new SM6 50 degree wedge performed much better and the ball flight was just the way I wanted. I suggest you switch, you will see the difference.

Thanks for responding. Good luck in getting fitted for your 816 H1!

Appreciate it! They feel great and I am very happy with the set up. Didn't think I needed to switch to the CB's, b/c I played the 714 CB's and loved those. Turned out that I was straighter and longer with the new 716 CB's and even straighter and longer on the mishits. On the 816 H2, I was shocked b/c I played and Adams Pro Hybrid Mini 17 degree and I was just as long with a higher ball flight with the 816 H2 in a 19 degree. Now I have proper gapping all the way from Driver to wedge.

It has helped me in being confident in club selection and flighting the ball. My scores have been more consistent and I have shot some lower rounds more often.

That's an awesome set up! Just as you, all my clubs are Titleist with FootJoy accessories, and I'm planning to change my AP1 irons for the CBs at the end of this year, so let me know how those work for you.
And I will assume you use a Titleist Ball but you didn't mention it? I use the Pro V1X. I hope the new set up help you to reduce your handicap.

    I can't believe I forgot that!!

    Yes, I play the ProV1x.
  8. I'd finish mine out but my iron set is cally and I got it in March at 60% off same with my driver. If I could get AP2 for the same price I paid for my Apex I would do it

You have a great set up. I got a complete bag of all Titleist equipment this year. I have the 716CBs as well. I absolutely love them, the sound and feel is superb and very easy to control the ball. You won't be disappointed.

I have been gradually putting together a fairly similar setup. I still have to get a hybrid and am tossing up between the 915H and the 816H also in 19*. I have a 913 D3 10.5* Driver and a 915F 15* fairway metal. I also have the 716CB irons and 2 SM6 Vokey wedges - a 54.08 M Grind and a 58.08 M Grind. I also have a Scotty Cameron Kombi putter which feels great - if only I could consistently put a decent stroke on it - I've always been a crap putter.

I am interested in hearing your opinion/review of the 816H2 and also your opinion of your other clubs. I have only had my irons, fairway wood and wedges for a few weeks now and am quickly learning to get the feel of them.

My feelings re my setup are :- I love my driver which I have had for some time and hit with a slight fade. The fairway wood is quickly becoming a favourite and I am also hitting a slight fade but I can easily control the amount of bend and flight. My only con with the fairway is that the ARC fills with dirt and turf every time I hit it and I have to continually clean out. Most of the 716CB irons are brilliant to hit although I am getting slightly less distance than my previous irons but this more than made up for with my new found extra height, accuracy and stopping power with all of my well struck irons going straight as an arrow and stopping within 1.5 metres of where they land on the green. You might have noticed I said "most of my irons" - I am still having trouble with my 5 iron and 3 irons for some reason but I'm sure I'll work them out. The new SM6 wedges will stop on a stone and I am learning(forcing myself) to put a full swing on them with excellent results so far. Overall I am extremely happy with my choices so far and feel that my shot making has improved already after only 4 or 5 rounds with them. I haven't yet thought about the rest of the gear yet but one day in the future if I win lotto maybe it will happen. Go Titleist.

Way cool setup. Now you feel that Titleist experience. Congratulations and enjoy.
  12. Zeeshawn,

Awesome set up! I too am in the process of converting my bag to all Titleist. What do you think of the 4UP bag? I'm considering getting one.

Stephen S., sorry it took me so long to respond. As far as the 4UP StaDry bag goes, here is my experience with the bag so far. I love the looks and it is very lightweight to carry. I wish it had one more divider for clubs, I find that my irons get tangled easily at the handles. But, the compartments are big enough for all the clubs. I would also like to see one more zippered pocket that is above or even hidden in the main ball pocket for tees and ball markers. I would also like to possible see a water bottle sleeve. I actually double up that pocket and use it for easy access to my range finder, especially when walking. The straps took me a while to adjust before I got the right fit for me to carry.

Overall, very cool bag that is easy and very light to carry and I love that it is waterproof. I would give it a 4/5 rating. I hope this helps!
  14. I currently play the 712 AP1's 5-PW. Just added the 716 AP1 4 iron and love it.
Juggling between the 716 AP1's and AP2's. Killing myself trying to decide because I want to upgrade the irons this season and get 4-5 months out of them before winter and then come out of the gate next season outfitted and updated. I hit both about the same. Driver, 3 wood, Hybrid, wedges, and putter are good. Titleist equipment is just to good!!! Hard to decide ):
  15. Here is my set up: (ALL TITLEIST)

    Zeeshawn S:
Very cool set up!!! ...oh, and I am experiencing the same as our set up are virtually the same, and I have also just completed my ALL Titleist bag, clubs & ball. Yes, I love it, too. There are no other golf company who builds a better fitted class of clubs...not to mention the support they provide are the best.
BTW, I do love FootJoy gears as well.!
    Congratulations!
  18. Love the set up! Especially with all of the other FJ accessories!

I agree, Kyle Cronkright is an awesome fitter. Also, the Jim McLean Golf Center, in Ft. Worth, is an excellent facility. I opted for the full bag fitting. I expressed my satisfaction with my TM M1 driver. Not once did he try and convert me to a Titleist driver and even took the time to make some adjustments to my M1. He also fitted me with a cally XR16 Pro fairway wood. I did commit to 816 H1 hybrids, 716 CB irons and Vokey SM5 wedges. I have been very pleased with my new lineup. I highly recommend a periodic club fitting along with the "find your distances" session which includes a TrackMan report for each club in the bag.
