I have posted over the last couple yrs now and then I proudly have my titleist team tag on my golf bag means a lot to me to have it!i have always played titleist products for yrs but have also bought into hype of other company's on distance etc. but I learned my lesson I'm a senior golfer went to a local titleist fitter even having been fitt before but time changes us all. So having said that I now am playing titleist ap1s 6-1st gap .and two wedges(both vokey) as well. Steel Nippon 850 shafts two degree flat r flex as well playing a strong three wood and five wood plus a 21 degree hybrid.and of course Scotty Cameron putter..woods 915 models.my point is fitting and age go together to enjoy playing golf and knowing what is best for your game not your ego! Enjoy my fellow golfers !

Well said. Age is an excellent teacher. Playing in the middle of the fairway with a set of clubs that fits you swing makes the game so much more fun at any age. Going on 70 and enjoying my Titleist and life. =)

    Absolutely.
I'm getting ready to replace my '08 AP1's. Not because I've fallen out of love with them, but my game has changed in the last 9 years. I could probably use different shafts, maybe another hybrid, and definitely a loft/lie check.
I know a fitting will help eliminate any need to adjust my swing to make the sticks work properly.
One thing that amazes me about people buying clubs off the rack...they think they are getting a bargain. Have a buddy that loves to shop Ebay and online sales. He goes through a driver or two a year. He has yet to find one that truly works. I've tried to get him to realize that it is short sighted to buy a cheap club if you don't enjoy the performance. Get properly fitted and you can save the time and money of guessing what will work for you. Get fitted!
