I don't know too much about them yet. My grandfather was an average golfer and my grandmother use to make Titleist golf balls back in the day at the Acushnet facility. Here are a couple more photos, maybe someone can determine how old they are.

The shaft bands are pretty worn off on must of them. AC - 108 is the markings on the head of the club.

Not too sure on the loft & lie angles. The shaft bands are pretty worn off on most of the clubs. AC - 108 are the markings on the the club heads. I'm not really sure if they are vintage or not. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated it. Here are a couple more photos.

The would be great for you to keep for sentimental reasons. I checked the PGA value book on these and resale on these on a full set in premium condition is $25. Trade value same condition would be half that. So thought you might like to know their worth as well. I would clean them thoroughly and display them proudly. A little soap, water and a soft towel might work wonders. Cheers, Chuck

I would hazard to guess that the clubs were from the mid-late 1960's to early 1970's. That's approximately the time when things like "cavity backs" and perimeter weighting were coming into vogue.

Wow great clubs in their day ! Never hit them but wonder how they would compare to today's in distance and feel.
  18. They are about 2 clubs short in distance in comparison to my TM speedblades

circa 1972-1976 - Anytime you want to check on a Titleist club it is pretty easy. Click on CLUBS and at the bottom of the list of current models it has a listing for PREVIOUS MODELS. Click on that and fill in the information desired. I filled in AC 108, it brought up a picture of the club and all the specs on the club, lie, bounce, etc.

Titleist has a library of information on this site. When I need and regarding fittings, product registration, warranty, or the age of a club, I research it on this site under the appropriate heading. I appreciate them making it so readily available for me.

In 1972, we had an identical set in the proshop where I worked. i think the design was pretty new at that time.

My grandfather had a set. Circa sometime in the early 70's. One of the very first cavity backs I can remember.

Hope you clean them up and can use them. They look to be in decent shape. Good luck!

I think 1972-76 is correct.Pretty cool finding them after all this time.
