Awesome can't wait to get fitted for the new AP2!
  4. Is there even a guess as to when these will be available for testing/fitting/ordering? I've seen dates ranging from late-August to November. Surely someone at TT has a slightly more specific release date, no?

Thanks for the update Abby. I had the pleasure of an advanced preview fitting of the new 718 irons and 818 hybrids this past Tuesday. All the products are amazing and the AP3 fills a nice gap in the current lineup.

The AP3 is just a flat out an amazing iron. After running through the numbers on various models, I decided on a mixed set of an 818 H1 hybrid, 5 and 6 in the AP1 and 7-W in the AP3. The numbers coming on Trackman with the AP3's had me sold after the first few shots. Counting down the days until they arrive.

    Tyler,
Just wondering....why did you go with the AP1 5 & 6 irons instead of going all in with the AP3s?

Thanks in advance for the info,

The numbers don't lie - more ball speed and a bit more forgiveness.

I love the fact that they will be available in Sept. This gives folks in most areas a couple months to use them before winter (for those of us that have winter).

  17. Abby - if you can reveal, which of the new sets of irons, if any, took most of the technology from the C16 irons. I'm thinking a lot of that technology is now in the new AP3s given what I have read and viewed, but really have no idea. Just curious as I really liked the C16 irons.

Abby: Thanks for the update. I am looking forward to going through the fitting process. I am thinking about a combo set of AP3's (5-6), AP2's (7-PW), and a T-MB for a 4 iron. Also, I was wondering what the status of the 718 Hybrids might be? Thanks; Rob

This is along my line of thinking as well. I'm anxious to see the numbers and compare the 818 vs T-MB for my 3i. From there I'll probably do AP3 in the 4i, 5i and AP2 6i-PW. There's a 5-degree difference in loft from 5i to 6i so the numbers will need to be ok for me to mix the bag in this manner. All others seem to be 4-degrees or less club-to-club.

Same as Rob, does anyone have insight on the status of 818 hybrids for fitting/purchasing? I've seen a few people review them, but I wasn't sure if that meant they're being released with the 718s or not.

I've waited all summer to purchase a new set of clubs. I can hardly wait any longer. So pumped!

I was one of the lucky TT members who got to demo and get fit for the new irons and hybrids today at Sleepy Hollow CC. Ordered a mix set of AP1/AP3 plus a new 818 H1. Now, i just need to wait a week for my clubs to arrive.

    CAN'T WAIT

    Thanks, Titleist

I was there also. It was such a great day! I ordered a set of AP3's 4-PW and an 818 H1 hybrid. Cannot wait for them to come next week as well. Really excited to take them out on the course. The biggest adjustment will be figuring out my new distances as I am switching over from the 716 AP2's. Good luck with your new sticks Steve. BTW, loved the Team Titleist goodie bag we received, very generous!

    Thanks again Titleist!
  29. Steve what handicap are you? I dont know if i should get ap1 or a mix set like you did.
