I'm 14, with an 11 handicap. I hit a 6 iron 160 and a drive 265. I'm not really on a budget but I need to get a hybrid because I do not currently own one. I'm looking into Titleist hybrids. Im looking to fill the cap between my 4 iron and 3 wood. my 4 iron is 180. and my 3 wood is 220. so if i could get one that went about 200 thatd be perfect (even if went like 205 or 210) what loft would that be do you think? and any recomendations/comments about the 909's and any other hybrids maybe from different brands. Thanks for your time!

I would get a 3 hybrid in the 909 or 910 series. You're probably going to want to get a regular flex shaft but I would get fitted if you have the availability.

    Good Luck,

check the loft of your 4 iron it's probably about 24 degrees,,,,Going by a number is ok but you have to know the lofts and that a hybrid with the same loft as an iron will carry farther because the shaft is longer. My 4 iron is 24 degrees and carry it about the same distance as you do yours. I replaced my 3 iron with a 24 degree 909H and hit it almost exactly the same distance i did my 3 iron but it flies higher and lands softer...Consult a fitter they know best

Agreed, it is very important that you see a Titleist fitter before you invest in a new hybrid. He will be able to get you fit for exactly the correct club you are looking for. Good Luck!

I can't say enough about my 909H 19*.  It's absolutely amazing!  I used to think that hybrids were for (please don't kill me) ladies and old guys, but that's not true at all!  I hit my hybrid about the same distance as my 3 iron, but I hit it way more consistently.  I can kill it from any lie, much higher, and with good spin.  I call it the par 5 slayer.

If you haven't bought one yet, I would say that you should wait for the new 910's.  They look sweet and are fully adjustable.

Get fitted and get a hybrid, they're for everyone.
