T300 Setup

    Hi!

    Just want some tips and see what setup other t300-players use. As the T300 are pretty strong lofted, I have to play 4 additional wedges, giving me little room for longer clubs.

    Currently I'm using: T300 4i - 48 (Got the additional 48, as PW is 43) Wedges: SM8 52-f8, 56-f14, 60-m8. TSi2 FW3 TSI2 D Scotty Newport 2

    As I have 14 clubs I have a bit of a gap between 4i and 3w, with no more room for a hybrid. I used to have just a 58-s10 instead of the 56 and 60 previously, but that gave me to much of a gap with the scoring clubs. I love both my 56 and especially my 60, which is really workable, so not willing to take those out.

    Any thoughts on this setup? What changes would you make? What setup are other T300 players using?

    Are you getting at least 10+ yards with the 4 iron from the 5 iron? If not, you can look at replacing the 4iron with a 5/7 wood, 18/21 hybrid, or a 3/4 driving iron. Whatever works for you. You can also strengthen the 3 wood as part of adjusting your gap.

    I have a 6-43 T400 and replaced the 6 iron with a hybrid for better gapping. Note the 6 iron is 23 degrees in that line but was less than 10 yards further than the 7iron.

    I hit my 5i around 175-180m (190-195yds), 4i about 180-190m (195-205yds) and my 3W about 215-230m(235-250yds). But the 4i is not as consistent as the 5i, and also there's a bit of a gap between the 4i and 3W.

    I actually picked up a TSi2 hyb3 (18) yesterday, and hitting it about 195-210m(215-230). So while that does extend the gab between my 5i and the next club, it sits better in between the 3w and 5i i think. I'll much rather have the precision with the wedges any way. I'll try this config for a while and see what will come out of it :)
