While on vacation last week in Palm Springs, I got the green light from the wife to go get a new driver at the PGA Tour Superstore to replace my tired TM R11. After hitting TM and png with varying results, I tried the TSi2 and immediately hit it 10-15 yards further with a much tighter shot dispersion. I was sold! Unfortunately, they didn’t have the club in stock, only the demo with a potential delivery date of late February. On the way home, we stopped in at another retailer who had a 9 degree head on one club, and a R Tensei Blue shaft on another club. Some quick work with the wrench and I had my club! I played at PGA West the next day and was hammering the ball.

I’ll add that I’m a little disappointed with the fitting at PGA Superstore. Once I found the club, they didn’t seem interested in dialing it in for me with the hosel adjustments. He just showed me the chart and said he’d make me a copy. Would have been nice to try some different settings on the shot tracker.

I just love my Tsi2 10*, best investment I made after my T200 Irons.

    John,
Very glad to read you found and put TSi2 in your bag. Sorry to hear the PGA guys weren’t much help. They are not Titleist fitters as they fit all brands and some are better than others. Would recommend getting fit with one of my Titleist Fitters at a Titleist event in the future for any other clubs you want to put in the bag. Have a great time with the new driver!

Thanks for the info. My home course is a Titleist club and the rep actually lives here in Napa. I might see if I can hop in at the next event. Although I’m not sure thrilled they’ll be that I didn’t buy it here. Oh well.

The one reason that I never go for at a brick and mortar store for a fitting. Just me, I go to a fitter who has years of experience, who will work with me. I have two I work with they both have 30+ years and we work with many setting to set the best results I can get. I bought mine in 2021, TSI3 set at 10.75 with a Fujikura Speeder 661 TR shaft. Awesome results. I have two fitters I work with, trust and will use no one else.

I agree Chuck but when you have the green light from the wife, you have to strike while the iron is hot!

    Chuck,

I agree with this and I am super excited that our new Head Pro at the club is a Certified Titleist Fitter.
