I am looking at either 17 or 19 hybrid to replace the 5 wood i hit my 3 iron about 230-235 and want this club to go about 250 I am using a 909 f2 13.5 and have a c/b 3 iron also with the 19 it could be knocked down to about an 18 not sure what to do.

You sound like a beginner so nobody can predict how far it will go...LOL.  OK, you're not a beginner hitting your 3 iron that far.  At your level, I think bit of time on the launch monitor is warranted.  It is hard to predict how each swing will take to a hybrid vs an iron vs a wood.  For example, I hit my woods relatively short and my hybrids relatively long.  Can't figure out why.  10 minutes in a shop with a fitting kit and a launch monitor will give you your answer. --jerry

With that ball speed, you could be a hybrid player, I just don't know until you go through a fitting process.

Brother i know your game. its just like mine. Here's what i do just for a thought. have Both a 5W and a Hybrid. i dont carry them both but i own them both. based on the course conditions and the layout i decide witch to carry. One course i play has a 278 yard par dawg leg par for with an island green. its Nasty to cut the corner just right i need a 5W hybred only gets me to the beach. you dont have to buy a new 5W just dont get ride of it. Pick up a hybrid, play around with it and you'll know when its better to have the hybrid or the wood. Good luck

I think you should see a Titleist fitter and compare the 17-19.  You'll get better results as to ball speed, distance and ball flight from them.  Looking at your numbers, 17 seems to be the one.   I would look at fitter Ryan Cryslers video on hybrid fitting in his studio.

I learned alot about the suject of irons vs hybrids in his great presentation and actual fitting sequence.

    RC is the man.

You'll be impressed, as I was.
