When does Titleist anticipate releasing TSR hybrids…summer 2023?

They are not really saying but as with all their releases, they will probably give us some hints along the way. They are already hinting as to an earlier release of the TSR1, I think Nelly wants it in her bag ASAP.
  3. Yes .... I think Nelly has already put the new TSR1 in play, at the last tournament ... according to the updated Titleist Tour section.

I’m in desperate need of a hybrid. The tsi2 is not available anywhere in the 19 3 hybrid. I went and bought next best which was sim2. I get home and put in my bag and it looks terrible lol. I want all Titleist so I’m keeping plastic on for a couple weeks to see if I can trade out.

Might be because they only make a 18 or 21 degree loft, not a 19 degree. Look on 2ndswing.com and get you either the 18 or 21 or wait for TSR hybrids.

I haven't been able to beat my 816! Just great shaping and performance. Maybe the tsr will be the one!

I think they're adjusting the Hybrid releases to align with the irons. I actually wouldn't be surprised if the new hybrids weren't "TSR."

    J22abe,
The TSR1 products along with TSR 2/3 will be released in Spring. They will keep them the same life cycles to not overload manufacturers trying to get to many products out at once.

I currently play 4 wood and then 5 iron so need something to fill the in between gap…

I have tsr and might get the 7 wood instead of waiting for the hyrbid.

    What’s your thoughts?

    A 7-wood is a great choice! I have a 21* TM SIM 2 Max which I just love.
  12. They will be released at the same time as the irons this summer/fall...stay tuned. Same as every two years now...

    Cheers, Chris
  13. Not sure what the next gen hybrid would offer over the TSi. The TSi is the only hybrid I have ever been able to play with after swearing off some others. I have potentially a strange set up as I go 3W, Heavenwood, and then TSi Hybrid. The heavenwood has really proven to be valuable to me--higher lofted fairway with 4Wood length shaft. I like it from the fairway and light rough and somehow can hit it like a laser to 220Y or get some loft and go 185 yard all with a fade bias. The TSi Hybrid at 21 degrees is a little shorter at 210Y max and I can choke it down a bit and also hit 175Y reliably but every shot is a draw. I also am a little more comfortable with the hybrid if the lie is not so friendly. I know to some the gapping may not make sense or the 2 clubs seem to consume the same spot, but I have found the shaping and the increased forgiveness of the hybrid in less preferred lies to be very valuable on Par 5s or long Par 3s off of the tee.
  14. Just were announced today! Go get'em!

Chris, it looks like the TSr3 hybrid is wider than the TSi3, is that correct? I wouldn’t mind if it was a little wider, but still like the thinner look.

I have the TSi3 in the 18* which I really like, but they are making a 24* TSr3 which would be great for long 190+ par 3’s. I never really got along with the TSi2 21* turned up to 23*.

Set up my fitting for 2/3, will do the driver, fairways, and hybrid in one shot.
  23. Play the TSI2 in 21* will be looking to add a TSR2 in 18*. These things look great.

I cannot wait to put one of these hybrids in my bag! I definitely need to get fitted for one. I have a utility ZX iron thats great for long par 5s when I am on the fairway. If I'm in the rough then TSR hybrid will be the way to go. Can't wait for next month!

Still play the 818h1 18* and 23* hybrids which are really dialed in with Fujikura Motore Tour Shafts, but out of curiosity will take a look at the new hybrids, or a combination of a hybrid and a 5 or 7 wood. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke no need to fix it, but also always keep an open mind. Hakuna matata. =)
