Tomorrow, after my round at Muni (Asheville Municipal Golf Course), I'll be going to the local shop to look at the new TSR hybrids. I need both a 18/19 degree and a 26/27 degree. I can't afford both so we'll see.

Curious to read stories about other members playing the new hybrids.

Just had a gapping fitting. I have 3 hybrids and a fairway. My longest iron is a T300 6 iron. By adjusting the 818 23 H2 to 24 degrees and a TSi-2 18 to 20 degrees and moved the 4W back to 16.5 degrees, I got the 10-15 yards between clubs without purchasing a new club. The 21 degree TS hybrid is now only in-between and will go back to the bench.
I had a good day ball-striking and filled the gaps needed. I did do better with new shafts, so I’m getting 2 new shafts.

If we had difficulty gapping we would have gone to TSR hybrids. Work with your fitter to first fill a need. The 2 shafts are less than a new hybrid. While I WANTED a new club, the fitter showed me I didn’t NEED a new club. Titleist has been making quality hybrids for years, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the TSR line. While I should benefit from the TSR 1 line at my swing speed, I don’t gain club head speed over the 2 line and like the feel of the mass of the 2 line. Since we are all unique, each potential -1 candidate needs to try both for the right feel.

I saw the new TSR hybrids yesterday. I haven't tried them. I have 818H1's (21 & 25). The new TSR3 looks more like the 818H1, the TSR2 was a bit bigger, and, the TSR1 looked like an old school fairway wood.
  4. Just ordered my TSR2 21 hybrid today, will update once I get it and have a chance to use it (may be a while living in Michigan lol)
  5. Wish they had a 23 or 24 degree

    The TSR -2 and -3 both have a 24. The TSR-1 has both a 23 and 25.
  7. They do, the 2 and 3 both come in 24 degrees and the 1 comes in 23, 26, 29.

Update-I've played two rounds with the TSR2 21 degree hybrid and I am really happy with it. Hitting nice fades about 190 yards which is the gap I was trying to fill. I highly recommend this club.
