Just looking for insight into what the overall perception of this stock shaft is like.. looking for some feedback for anyone who is playing this and what they think,Swing speeds ball flight etc.

    Keith,

I have the Project X 7B3 6.5 stiffness in my new 910 D3 and I love it.  I went throught the Titleist Tour Fitting @ the Oceanside Facility and that is the shaft that best fit my swing.  My average ball speed from that fitting was around 158mph - 162mph, which i think equates to 105 -110 mph swing speed.  The trajectory is lower than my previous fujikura shaft on my FT-9, but i was looking for a lower launch lower spin driver.  I like that you can give it a little extra and the shaft is right there with you.  Overall it has great feel and control.  Thumbs Up!

I think the PX shaft is probably one of the best stock shaft offerings for ANY OEM currently.

I have used several tour issue PX shafts before I got my 910 D3, including several non-retail/ tour only profiles.

Keep in mind, the PX offered is a real deal, Project X.. No made for here.

I have the 7C3 in my driver because I got better numbers than I did with the 7B3 when I demo'd and got fit. I have a 104-108 swing speed. Smooth transition, moderate lag in my swing, and would consider myself a hitter, instead of a swinger.

The 7C3 does feel "whippy" and "weak" to many who will do the waggle test, but rest assured it's not. It's a 6.0 which is a stiff. 6.5 is close to an X-flex, and 7.0 being to me, a pretty darn stout shaft.

The PX is a very low spin shaft.. I'm a pretty high spin player, but launch the ball pretty low. The PX is a low/mid launch, and very, very low spin. I get LOADS of roll out from this combo, and I've raised my launch angle to around 10.3* with a high 2800-2900 RPM spin rate.

It's a very smooth shaft, and thats why people think it's whippy I think. It loads and unloads very nicely.

I love these shafts so much, I just got my 910 FD with the 8C3, and I got the 910 Hybrid with the PX HD2 shaft, which is a 92g shaft and feel ultra stable.

i totally agree with  sean. i have the projext shaft in my 910 D2 and in my 910F and it is an amazing shaft. Cant go wrong with it. The only sure way to find out though is to go get fitted and see the numbers and feel it for yourself

Does Titleist offer the PX in a regular flex for the 910? If so has anyone tried it and what do they think?

    Thanks

They do offer it in the 5.5 flex. Thats a "strong" flex I'd say. It's a middle of the road in terms of flex.

I have not tried it, but they do offer it at no upcharge.

OK so pulled the trigger, now have the PX 15deg Fd  set to D1.... now if we could just get rid of the snow in MN I could use it.

  8. I have the Project X 6.0's in my AP2 irons and Vokey wedges. Definitely one of the best shafts out there. The shafts really help control the trajectory of your shots to keep the ball flight low that way you can really maximize your control, distance, and accuracy.

I have Project-X 6.5's in my irons and I love them.  They give me a lot more control over the ball as compared to the Dynamic Golds that I am used to playing with.

I played golf yesterday and i have no clue what my swing speed is anymore, but I stuffed a 7-iron to 5 feet from 170 into a slight breeze.  I naturally hit the ball high and I have had very good success in playing the ball low and also using my normal shot with the Project X.  Not sure if any of this helps, but it is just my .02.
