    Hello Everyone,

All the 910 product lines have the SFT technology. I assume the standard settings for all the product lines are A1. When golfers adjust to their drivers, fairways, and hybrids to his/her specific settings, how is the spine alignment taken into account with the different settings? Does the shaft perform the same with the different settings? I can be wrong, but if the shaft is not aligned, this would create an inconsistent performance of the club.

    Thanks for your help,

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

When you order the club, you can designate what setting you want aligned ie, I ordered a D2 but my setting was D4.  So Titleist hooked mine up with the D4 setting so the RIP graphics were aligned properly with the shaft installed.  It came exactly like I wanted.  Of course, this wouldn't apply to an off the shelf driver but I ordered mine through my local pro.

  3. Hi Steve B, I hate to tell you this but usually when Diamana or any other manufacturer  finishes a shaft they don't spine it. So the position of the graphics has usually no relationship to the position of the spine. I've got two examples leaning against my wall. One is a UST proforce V2 high launch where the spine is about 20 degrees from  a line directly through the graphics . The second one a Graphite design Ys6+ has the graphics about 70 degrees displaced from the spine.

The only I think you can be sure is to specify you want it spined and then the graphics may or may not be aligned in the way you see when you look at a row of clubs for sale off the shelf. (i.e. not cosmetically acceptable in terms of club to club consistency.)  However if its out and out performance then how the  graphics look  don't matter a damn.

    regards Chris
