Does the type of golf grip matter for GT2 Driver?

I was fitted for and purchased a GT2 driver. The fitter made a comment that my order would be set at the B-2 setting. I use a standard grip with two tape wraps. I assume that with a standard Titleist grip, the grip was aligned square with the B-2 setting. If I was to someday change the grip with some other style, do I make the grip squared or centered to the B-2 setting or does it matter? While I think most grips are basically round, some definitely have an alignment line or other markers on the back side of the grip. I definitely change the settings at practice or before a round depending on factors such as wind and temperature or just how I am swinging for the week. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Usually when a build is made to a specific adapter setting, it places the shaft logos down so you do not see them when set up over the ball. A round 360 grip is most common so that if you do change the setting, the reminder ridge and logo that come on some grips will not be an issue. If you do not use a 360 grip, you probably will want to regrip if you change your settings. If you like to change settings a lot, definitely stick to a 360 model grip.
