    I set my 910D3 loft 9.5 on A-4 setting I'm a left handed player.

My question is does the spin rate increases if I set it on B-3 or A-3 ?

Reason I ask is because when I have set it on these settings my golf ball doesn't go as far. I hit it much further when I have it on

    A-4 or B-4.

    Thanks.

  2. Hi Rafael -

B-3, A-3, A-4 and B-4 should all decrease spin rate because you are reducing .75 degrees of loft in each of these settings.  It sounds like you see better launch conditions when in the STD or FLAT lie angle setting (A-4 or B-4).

When you move over to  B-3 or A-3, you create a more upright lie which is most likely affecting the way you make contact with the ball to the club face.

Which setting would decrease spin rate without compromising distance?

Rafael, some players need more spin for longer distance and some less spin for longer distance. It all depends on your clubhead speed, launch angles, etc... If according to your statement you are hitting it further with a higher loft I would stick with that.

John is right.  The fitting process and working through different 910 settings will optimize your distance.  It might be helpful for you to call us directly so that we can get more details about your game and set-up.
