  1. Why did titleist stop making a 15 degree hybrid (strongest loft in 910 is 17 before adjustment).  For that matter, why don't they make a 13 degree like a strong 3 wood?

    P.S.  I hit the 910 hybrid and it's gorgeous.

    Hey Mike

As you can see from the responses, there isn't much demand for low lofted hybrids.

All the same problems people have with long irons they will have with low lofted hybrids. One big factor is swing speed, you can get more speed from a fairway wood, thus you can hit a lower loft of fairway than you can a hybrid, the same thing as hybrids and irons, you can hit a lower lofted hybrid than you can an iron.

Most people that do have the swing speed for a low lofted hybrid can hit a fairway wood better, thus they have no use for the hybrid. That means the market for low lofted hybrids is very small.

I too used to use hybrids in place of fairway woods, but I learned to use the fairways better, now I carry  17/21 degree hybrids a 3 wood and a driver and use the 3w off the tee a lot.

Other manufacturers used to make low lofted hybrids, ebay would probably be the cheapest way to try one out.

I do have a Bang 12* hybrid, hasn't had much use, I don't have the swing speed for such a club, but it would be useful hitting into a stiff wind. No wind I can hit it about 200 in the air, then no telling how far it might roll.

For a new club, depending on the shaft you want, Bang or some other component company would probably be the cheapest.
