    Okay I have the following:

    905R @ 10.5 deg.

    909F2 @ 15.5 deg

    DCI oversize + Black 3 iron @ 22 deg

    etc.

I'm exploring a hybrid to gap my fairway wood to my 3 iron.  the 17 deg I can adjust up to 18.5 deg which might be a nice middle ground.  and the 19 deg would go up to cover my 3 iron and can go down to a 18.25 deg.

does anyone who has 910's with surefit adjust loft in the middle of a round?

    thanks!

Anyone out there?  does anyone own a Hybrid?  it's tough to buy a new club without a little help :-)

    Hi Justin,

I'm currently gaming a 910H 20* with the Project X HD-2 6.0 shaft with a SureFit setting of B-2 (Std. Loft, + .75* upright). This takes the place of my 3-iron and I'm a huge fan of the club.

In terms of which loft you should get, I would recommend going through a long game fitting to find out yardage gaps so you can optimize your set composition for your game. That is really the best way to figure out the right 910H loft for you and while your getting fit, the fitter will be able to dial-in your SureFit Tour hosel setting.

As for changing settings during the round, keep in mind that under the rules of golf you are not able to alter or adjust a club during a stipulated round. Here is a link to the USGA ruling:

I hope this helps and let us know if you need help finding an authorized Titleist fitter in your area. Thanks a lot.

Never adjusted mid round -- what is your gap in yards between the 3W and the 3I?

gap is probably around 30 yards (maybe 40 at times due to consistency hitting 3 iron off the fairway)

    3W = 210-220

    3 Iron = 180-90

Too often people are equating loft to distance, while true with a particular type of club, its not true between types.

You are talking about 3 different types of clubs, fairway wood, hybrid, and irons.

4* would be good between fairway woods, and 4* wood be good between hybrids, and 4* would be good between irons. But when jumping from one type to another it isn't a perfect fit.

If you have a 15.5* fairway wood and a 15.5* hybrid, you will hit(considering you hit both well) the fairway wood farther. So to gap distance you will need less loft in the hybrid.

I use a 15* 3 wood, 17* and 21* hybrids, leaves a little extra gap between 21* and 4i but thats ok for me.

BTW if you and I are playing, I don't care how many times you adjust your clubs. But if you are in any type of competition they won't let you adjust the club. I have played many times with a guy that adjusted his white driver every time he uses it, then in a money match(not big $$$) the other guys wouldn't let him adjust it. He fell apart, I guess it just messed with his mind.

I wouldn't get used to adjusting the club during a round.

Hi, I just got my 19* and 21 * after being fitted at the Titleist Manchester Ln facility in MA. The fitter was great she popped shafts off and on as she looked for the optimum ball flight. The shafts were stock titleist and I cold not tell you the settings. I don't care as I will not be changing them myself. I am Hitting the 21* 180-195 and the 19* goes 200-220. I do not own a 3I and do not touch the4I andy more. These clubs are game changing the the long ball game. Get fitted!
