I am currently having a wedge problem. I have a 52* and a 60*. I find myself right in between these 2 clubs 5 or 6 times a round. I need some advice on wether i should bend one of my current wedges or buy a new wedge. I am trying not to buy a new wedge. any advice?

If you bend to 53 and 59, that will give you the Voke's maximum preferred gap o six degrees. Try that and let us know!

I like the sound of that! but how will this affect the bounce of the wedges. Also on my 60* I have the M grind. Will this play the same if i bend it? Thanks for your help!

I've got the M grind on my TVD's and I haven't felt a noticeable difference.  I can still open or close the face of the lob wedge fairly easily.  Strengthening the wedge will change the bounce of the club i doubt that it will make a noticeable difference from the fairway.

When you bend the loft, the sole goes with it. Increasing the loft increases the bounce. Decreasing the loft decreases the bounce.

I probably wouldn't weaken (add loft to) a wedge too much unless you're comfortable with less offset and increased bounce. A degree won't make too much difference but 2 degrees might. I added a degree on my 246.06 (47*) Vokey PW and it works fine but I don't know if I'd go 2* to 48 because of the bounce.

I would have to agree with Ryan.  I currently use a 53 and a 58.  That works very well for me.  I gives me good yardage coverage and the 58 still works well for chipping.  Titleist does not make a 53 that is not custom, so I had to do the same thing.  I had a 53 bent.  I bought my 58 though.

That would be you best option if you do not want to buy another.

    Hope that helps,

    Joey

I've got a 46* PW bent to 47* (125 yds), 54* SW bent to 53* (110 yds), and a 60* bent to 58*(95 yds). 5*-6* degree difference gives me 15 yard gap between all of my wedges. You should find a club or wedge setup you're confident hitting from that distance if it's a shot you play 5-6 times a round. That should be "GO" time!

I once had a 58/12 Vokey and a 64/05 Alien (about 3 years ago). In a lot of golf sets there is a gap of 7-8 degrees between the PW and the SW. There's also this wonderful thing called choking down on the club to shorten the shot (basically you cut your distance about 10 yards for every 1/2" you choke down on a full swing). If you bend the 52 to 54, the bounce angle would increase 2 degrees and then you could use it as a sand wedge. What is the bounce on your 52 deg gap wedge? And your 60 deg lob wedge? I'm surprised you don't have a high bounce 56 wedge in between. How do you extract a ball from a soft bunker? My current wedge setup is 54-11, 60-07,64-07 Vokeys. My Eye 2 PW is 50 deg. I am playing with a used 56/14 SV to get a warm fuzzy using a high bounce wedge (in the event I play a golf course with very soft sand). You can never have enough wedges IMHO. You would be surprised at some of the shots I've hit with a 64 degree wedge.
