On Friday, August 14th, 2020 I was playing golf at the Jay Peak Resort course with my Father and Brother. That alone made the day exceptional. The 14th hole was set forward of the listed 141 yd range, and the pin was in the front third of the green. there was an anticipated headwind coming around the mountain, so i opted to use an 8-iron and dial back my swing. The hit was good, pretty lofty, but straight, and as it started coming down the comments of "nice shot" and "that looks good" turned into "oh my god" and "that's it!"...the ball went directly in the cup. no pin, no edge, just the slightest little 'tick' from hitting the foam and the pin within. the cart read 138 yds. i estimate i hit it 138.001 yards...Extremely cool to do with my father and brother as the audience.
Certainly unforgettable!
