  1. Minnesota National located in Minnesota is a course that has given me trouble in the past, but every year I keep trying try to get in the 70's. Well, this year things changed. After a birdie on the 1st., and a par on the 2nd, I stood on the 3rd tee of the par 3 at one under, and with my friends and a couple of the grounds crew watching, I put it in! My 1st hole in one. Needless to say I was a little excited. After the round, I filled out some paperwork in the pro shop and proceded with the second round. By the way, I shot a 78. Well, when we came to the 15th hole (par 3). I hit a nice shot, and turned away. Well my buddy said it may have gone in but I didn't listen to him. When I got to the green, I asked if they could see my ball. At first they said no, but then said it was in the cup. I didn't believe them until I saw it. I didn't even know how to react. I couldn't believe it. Played golf for 40 years without one, then get 2 in one day. You can't make it up. So I went in the pro shop to fill out the papers again, and the kid in the pro shop said congratulations, and his buddies on the grounds crew watched someone get a hole in one earlier that day. I told him yea, that was me! He said you're kidding! We took a selfie so he could send it to his buddies. By the way, shot a 84 that round. Stats - June 1st (2020). Holes in one on the 3rd and 33rd holes of the day. Same club (5H), same yardage.
