I have been playing golf steadily in retirement for the last 2 years. The ball I consistently hit the best is a Titleist. On Monday, July 27th, I stood at #16 Tee Box at Birkdale Golf Course, just north of Charlotte, NC. The distance was 172 years, par 3. I had been playing the same ball the whole round, Pro V1x. I teed it up, hitting a shot coming in front the left side, trying to stay away from water on the right side of the green. The ball hit gently off the sloped left side and rolled on to the green heading towards the flag about 10 years in distance. The shot looked good as it started to rolling. One of my friends who could see a little better than me starting getting excited as the ball approached the hole. I did not think it was going to drop. It did. Drinks all around. Finally did it, never forget it.
