During the first round of our club championship on August 24, 2019, I got my first hole-in- one. The third hole at the University Club of Milwaukee (formerly Tripoli Country Club) is a downhill Par 3 and was playing 176 yards. I hit a Titleist Pro V1 with my Titleist DCI 962 6-iron. The shot landed on the front of the green and rolled gently into the cup. My foursome and the group on the next tee all were able to watch the ball drop. The ability to see the entire shot was icing on the cake! At age 68 (then), I had played golf since childhood and despite several near misses, had never had a hole-in-one. I thought I would share this story since it was Titleist all the way!
