Was playing up in the Adirondacks in New York at Cronin's golf course. This is a short hole at only 146 yard over the entrance road. Like every par 3, we were playing closest to the pin and my one buddy landed about 4 feet from the hole with his pitching wedge. I knew that I don't hit my irons as far, but I was hitting the 9 iron well this day. When I teed off, the line looked very similar and hit the green before taking a bounce and disappearing into the cup. I think the whole course heard us yell out of excitement. After many exchange I went to go retrieve my winning ball, who will be retired from now on and will be sitting on my wall. We went back in after and had a few Miller Highlife's to celebrate. Nothing better than the champagne of beer to have out of celebration. Did not have time to buy everyone a beer on the course, but I did for everyone who was at the bar. This was not the greatest course, but is my new favorite!
