Yesterday, I made my first hole-in-one on number 11 at Victoria National. The hole was playing 197 yards, and so used my Titleist i710 MB 5 iron that I’ve had since 2010 and a ProV1.
I struck the ball perfect, and because the hole is slightly downhill we were able to track the back in the air, when it landed, and as it rolled in the hole. My buddies Jeremy and Trey called it the moment it went in. I was shocked! I fell to my knees and couldn’t believe what I’d done.
When I finally composed myself, I immediately went to my cart, grabbed phone and called my dad. He answered a I shared with him what I’d done as I walked from the tee to the green and eventually to that hole.
I caught a video of taking the ball from the hole. Here’s a link to that video.

My teaching pro, Mike Finney, from the University of Louisville Golf Club, suggested I send this to you because he knows how loyal I am to Titleist. As I told him, because of his help, he’s very much a reason why I was able to make my first hole-in-one yesterday!
