5/22/2020 - It’s about 40 years since I started playing golf on and off thru the years. Fourteen years ago started to play weekly and some amateur competitive events. The last 2 years I haven’t played as much because of a bad back. Last night Bob and I started our couples league season at Spring Lake GC, Middle Island, NY, and I finally hit a milestone in Golf. I HIT MY FIRST HOLE IN ONE on Sandpiper hole 6 - 87 yards with my 9 iron! I usually play with Titleist Tour Soft balls, but my granddaughters gave me Titleist Orange Velocity balls for Mothers Day and decided to try them. My results- A Hole in One.
