I originally selected a 7-iron for this 158 yard par 3. After seeing my brother hit his ball with a 7-iron pass the hole by 5 yards onto to green, I club'ed down since I normally hit farther then him. I commented that his shot influenced me to switch club and will likely mess me up . The shot was into the sun so we were not able to see it fly. Upon hearing a clank noise when it landed, I commented it was in the hole. Not truly believing it was an Ace, I looked at all the balls on the green and none were mine. My wife looked into the hole and sure enough it was a Hole-in-One. We were ecstatic. After 39 years of playing golf.......Finally.
