  1. During the covid-19 quarantine, my kids and I played golf every afternoon or evening. The local golf course remained open and this was our only escape from the house for weeks. On Tuesday, May 19, an evening I would normally be playing in my local league, the kids and I played nine. I had not scored well on the first few holes. As we walked up to hole #6, my son said of the front middle pin location - this is my least favorite pin on the green. Yardage was 155 and I pulled 7 iron. The ball took one hop and we heard it hit the pin. Immediately, both of my kids screamed that it stayed in the hole. I was not so sure, as I could still see part of the ball. During covid-19, our golf course had placed pool noodles in the holes so you would not have to pull the flag to remove your ball. I just knew the noodle would not allow the ball to stay in the hole. Nevertheless, both kids continued to celebrate and I started to get my hopes up that it had actually stayed in the hole. As we approached the green, we could definitely see the ball HAD stayed in the cup! My first hole-in-1! And, I couldn't have been more excited to have my 19 year old son and 15 year old daughter as my witnesses! It was such a cool experience, one we won't soon forget!
