It was June 18th, 2020. My group walked up to the daunting tee box of the third hole at Little Bennett Golf Course in Clarksburg, MD. The card reads 154 yards but the tip sheet reads to play it two clubs less as there is a big down hill shot. I've played here enough to know that if you leave it a little short, the ball should roll right onto the green. I decided to play an 8 iron as I had a little wind in my face. I took my shot and it was PERFECT! I struck it flush and the ball was on the exact line I was hoping for. Two guys that were in my foursome were standing behind me and started saying they saw it rolling onto the green, another guy said, "I think it's in the hole!" From our vantage point we couldn't tell for sure. Once we started driving down the cart path to the green, there was no doubt, a HOLE IN ONE! Such a great feeling!
