  1. I got my first hole in one two weeks ago in Golf League night on Wednesday June 3rd 2020. After what has been a dismal year around the world and especially our country I had a wonderful feeling about that day on June 3rd. The weather was beautiful 75 and sunny. I carried that great feeling throughout the round. My brother is my partner and we were both playing great! We do a shotgun start for our league so Hole 10 was actually our 2nd last hole to play that evening. We each had a couple of bogies on the round but mostly played par golf. My brother drives a Par 4 downhill hole perfectly and lands 4' from pin for a tap in eagle. - I being the best brother I am - miss my eagle putt on purpose so that he can get his skin on 16. We each bogey the next two holes and # 10 is coming up. We had the tee box and I was up first usually. I went into my bag and grabbed a new ball ( Titleist #3 DT SoLo - Yellow) I switched it up and played a colored ball for some reason. Pin was in the center of the green, slight wind nothing major. 142 yards I hit a #9 iron. Started a little left to right and came right in towards the flag stick, two bounces on the green and you could hear it hit the base of the pin! (Tink) and it stuck! ( I am very surprised it stuck, because with the COVID 19 rules there is foam in base of cup) but it sat right in the foam! As soon as i hit it, my brother was standing behind me saying....Go in ball! Go in. - Sure enough it did. I dont know who jumped higher when we saw it land in the cup but we were both jumping higher than ever and hootin and hollering! All the groups around us knew something good happened. I got my 1st hole in one! As it turns out, when we were finished with round and came back into clubhouse, I was hearing rumors that someone else got a hole in one too! I thought no way, two hole in ones on the same night! Sure enough a gentlemen two groups ahead of us in our league also got a hole in one on the same hole, same night - So No Skins!!!! This helped out on the bar tab though since we split the beers / drinks afterwards. #ThisonesforyouDad I lost my father almost 3 years ago now, to sudden heart failure. For years I played golf with him any chance that we could get away. in his 67 years of life! He never got a hole in 1. I have seen him come oh so close many of times, but never got the big one! So I just want to say this one is for him up in heaven watching down. I have been playing more golf and steady golf these last couple years and joining a league always helps the game, but over the last two months of this season I have come 6" from and hole in one and about 14" at another nearby course and I knew I had to get one somday! What a great feeling! Amen # Godisgood
