On May 28th, 2020 At Twin Ponds Golf Course in Gilbertsville, pa , I was about to tee off on #18 . It is a 138yd par 3 back right pin. as I was teeing up my ball I was talking out my thoughts about what I wanted to do. “ gonna tee it up just a little , it’s only 138 yds , gotta open face Pitching wedge , open stance slightly , I’ll hit it high over pin with enough spin to suck it back , maybe it it will drop .” My playing partners kinda giggled . Unbelievably that is exactly what’s happened. As I got up to the green still unsure if it actually was true , a worker from the course and a foursome from the adjacent fairway were all clapping and saying great shot ! I walked onto green looked and it was true , my First Hole-in-one!! Fixing my ball mark I couldn’t hold back tears of pure excitement!!! Of course can’t celebrate like normal due to the pandemic but I did my duty and opened a tab up in the bar for any and all golfers to go grab a couple cold ones and come out in parking lot to celebrate. Titleist was my ball of choice in 2009 for double eagle and Titleist is STILL my ball for my First hole-in-one in 2020 !! (Plus my 40th birthday is in 2 days , so it was a nice gift from the golf gods)! Disregard the Flip flops , Pictures were taken after the round .
