Dear Titleist, I've been playing golf for about 55 years. I started playing when I was 8 years old. My Dad got me started by having us chip around in our yard. I love the game, period. On Sunday, 5/24/20, I was playing golf with my Wife and my Dad, who will be 91 years old next month. We were playing the course that I learned the game on, Cohasse CC, in Southbridge, Mass., a Donald Ross designed layout. My "Hole in One" was on the 190 yard 3rd hole. It was mid-afternoon, with some sun glare, and there wasn't a clear contrast between the green and the ball. I hit a great shot, headed for the green, and tracking toward the hole. I saw it hit on a little up-slope right in front of the elevated green, and bounce up toward the pin, which was on the right side about half way back. I knew it was a great shot, but wasn't able to see where it stopped. When I walked up to the green, I couldn't see any ball on the green! I checked the rough in front, and walked around to the back, purposely avoiding walking near the hole, and didn't see my ball in the back of the green either. It is then that I suspected that something wonderful had happened! I walked toward the cup, announcing to my Wife and Dad, joyously, that my Titelist Golf Ball was indeed in the hole!!!!!!!!!!!! A Hole in One! My 2nd in my life, and the first on the course that I grew up on! After playing that hole maybe 1000 times in my life, I knocked it in! To be playing with my Dad, who introduced me to the game, made it extra special!!!!
