After playing golf for 62 years at age 82 I had my first hole-in-one on May 19, 2020. story published on 5/20/20 in the Beaver County Times. it was on #7 at Shadow Lakes Country Club in Aliquippa, pa. 15001 where I have been a member for 53 years. A 140 yd hole I hit an 8 iron landed about 5 yards short and rolled into the hole.. The foursome waiting on number 8 tee start clapping as we approached 7 green. I was so happy thought I was running out of time. playing a pro v1 my favorite ball. the men I play golf with are all waiting for me to buy drinks but because of the Virus all bars are closed. they all said I planned I it that way.
