  1. In the midst of a pandemic, I have not been able to spend time with my children. However, golf has provided us with the opportunity to do so while still social distancing. The weather finally broke in the northeast and the governor allowed the golf courses to be opened. On short notice, I asked my son to play golf. I picked him up and we both wore our masks in the car. Yes, we removed them upon arrival at the golf course. I teed off first on the 6th hole, hit a good shot and watched it go towards the hole. It stopped. We waited and we waited and we waited. The ball did not go in. I turned around to place my club back in the bag when I hear "Dad, it went in!" Sure enough, the last gust of wind pushed the ball into the hole. It was a little anti-climactic; however, it was a hole-in-one none the less. I am truly happy that my son was able to witness this. This was my 3rd ace. My last one was 15 years ago with my father and my brother. I am truly honored to have been able share these joyous moments with my family! P.S. - The bar was closed for obvious reasons. I owe my son and others a drink when life returns to normal.
