On May 3, 2020, 3 friends and I were walking Sanctuary Lake in Troy, MI. This was the first week since the Corona Virus golf ban had been lifted here in Michigan. The course placed metal rings in every cup to prevent players from pulling the flagstick. The ring only allows the ball to fall halfway into the cup. We got up to the 12th Hole, which is a downhill par 3. The pin placement was back and slightly right. My buddy shot the distance, 160 yard to the pin. With the wind in my face, I pulled out my cally 7 iron and placed my Titleist ProV1 ball onto my tee. I played a draw, which started out to the right side of the green and peeled back toward the hole. It landed on the green and appeared, from the tee box, to roll within inches of the hole. As we got closer to the green, we noticed the ball was actually in the cup! A Hole-in-one! The second hole-in-one in my lifetime, and both on the same course!!!
