  1. I was in my practice round of my sophomore state golf tournament when we got to hole 14 of the Dakota Dunes Country Club. This is a beautiful course that was designed by Arnold Palmer on the Missouri River. Hole 14 was playing 156 yards that day with a slight breeze on our face. I pulled out my 6-iron and teed my ball in the ground. I took a practice swing and addressed the ball. I struck the ball really well and my coach said, "That's right at it, it's got a really good chance of going in the hole." Sure enough, the ball one bounced off the front fringe and landed right in the middle pin. It was a fall day so there were leaves and all over the green. On the tee box after it bounced we didn't see it laying on the green (because of the leaves). On the tee box we were trying to figure out where it rested. My coach said, "I think it is in the hole." One of my playing partners got in the cart to drive up and see if it was in the hole and it was. He drove back to the tee box and we all took a bunch of pictures to remember the shot and after we got to the green we took some more of me taking the ball out. Since it was the practice round of the state tournament it was announced that I got a hole in one and everyone at the tournament over the course of the next few days came up to me and congratulated me.
