Have just been waiting to post this from last fall. 3 buddies and me playing a really fun little track in the town of Canon City called Four Mile Ranch Golf Course. It's got it all - great layout, challenging blind approaches, greens with some crazy undulating surfaces including what we called "buried elephants" creating huge breaking putts and a few exciting Par 3's. My new "favorite hole" however is their Par 3, 157 yard #14 on the back nine that has a completely blind approach shot guided only by a wooden post on the embankment covering the view of the hole. The post has a directional marker placed to indicate which side of the green the pin is (see the post just over my right shoulder in the pic). Anyway, choosing my Titleist AP-3 8 iron I struck my Pro-V1 well but of course never saw it land. Driving around to the green I couldn't see my ball, but my partner Rick found it in the cup. It had landed about 10 feet short (from the divot on the green) and rolled up and in. NEVER SAW IT GO IN, but it sure was satisfying as my very first one.. Thanks Titleist for great equipment, it's pleasure playing the BEST!
