Hi This was the Whitehill GC Matchplay KO final I was 4 up at the turn, and my opponent took it to 3 up after the 10th. To both our surprise I managed to curl in a 6 iron on the 185-yard 11th hole with a smooth draw that took what I remember calling a 'members bounce' that took it in the direction of the hole. "That could be in the hole", said my opponent. And sure enough it was nicely in the hole returning the match score to 4 up. It was a very close match with my opponent playing superb golf, but I managed to secure victory with a 5&4 win. Name on two boards in the clubhouse.
