I just bought some new irons and was using them for the first time on a golf course. The day wasn't going too well but was happy with the clubs so far. As we approached hole 11, the sun was extremely bright and shining on our face. As I stepped up to the tee, I could barely see the green and the pin. I confidently hit my Titleist with a 7 Iron and it felt like a great shot. I looked up and stared right into the sun, but was able to see the ball bounce onto the green before I lost it. It felt great but I never imagined that it went into the hole.

As the group and I walked up to the green, I just couldn't see my ball. I wondered if I hit it long and it rolled into the rough, but a small part of me was excited that it might actually be in the hole. I walked up to the pin and was in utter shock--the ball was there. It was an unbelievably surreal experience. Never thought I could do it or that such a thing was even possible. I will never forget that feeling or that moment!
