Foggy morning and we could barely see the flag stick let alone the cup. The yardage was 176, 169 adjusted with a wind off the right. Hit a chippy knockdown 7iron the ball came off just as I saw it pre-shot, as we lost in the fog as it flew towards the flag, my playing partner loudly stated “1 time baby!” Moments latter the only sensory feed back we received was the sound of the ball hitting the flag stick. Trying to manage expectations I said “Well it’s either really good, or really bad!”

As we drove up to the green it was clear nothing was on the green and I assumed it hit and kicked off. I grabbed my wedge and putter and started walking to the green. As I made on to the putting surface, I could the divot was thru the top of hole and directly to the bottom of the cup for my second hole in one, ending my 17 year drought!
