Northern California has been getting hammered by wet weather and wind the past couple weeks and we’re expecting more. Today there was a break in the weather and my 12 year old son was begging me to get out to our local course Empire Ranch Golf Club in Folsom, CA. I just wanted to stay on the couch and watch football but he wore me down and we went. The 16th hole had a front pin and was playing 151. Hit a 9-iron 2 feet past the hole and drew it back for my first ace! 41 years old, been playing for 30 years and FINALLY broke the ice in the Home-in-One quest!
