I was at my favorite local golf course, Makefield Highlands Golf Club in Bucks County, PA. It was the 14th hole, par 3. My friends range finder said 176 yds to the hole. I hit a nice high shot that moved gently right to left towards the flag. The sun was low and it was a little hazy, so no one in our group saw the ball land. As we approached the green, I was disappointed when I realized my ball was nowhere to be seen. I started searching along the first cut when my playing partner yelled to come over to the cup. I told him I wasn't falling for that trick and continued to ignore him while searching for my ball. His tone was firm and he became louder. I also noticed that he hadn't moved from his crouching position. I walked over to the cup, peered inside and saw my Titlest AVX with my black dot staring up at me. Then the fireworks began!
