Playing at Thousand Oaks Golf Club in Grand Rapids Michigan in the Pastors Invitational Golf Scramble with Mark Chanski, Calvin Chanski, and John Rich on August 14, 2023. Our 5th hole was the #3 163-yard Par 3. Due to the pin being forward and wind it was playing about 153. Mark had hit a shot to about 10 feet. I hit an 8 iron and the ball went straight at the pin hit about 12" in front of the hole and then disappeared into the cup. Our team ended up winning the event with a 57. What a great day! This was my first hole-in-one after playing for over 37 years. I was playing Titleist Irons and Prov1 ball.
