So it was Wednesday evening the 16th August and the weather was just perfect for golf, no breeze and 20 degrees so if you knew your yardages the conditions were right to chase down flags, our 2nd hole in Tulfarris is a par 3 and on this evening we were playing from the forward tees, 135 yards to a front flag, 9 iron was the club of choice and when I’d hit it and got that sensation of no sensation I knew it was hit well and on its target line, it pitched just right and beyond the flag and spun into the hole, what a great feeling, we all cheered and high fived, no need for a putter, the nicest 135 yard walk ever.
