Nearly four months to the day that I got my first hole-in-one, I nailed my second ACE. It was a beautiful day at the same golf course I got my first. Old Hickory Country Club. Except this time, it was Hole #7 (Different Par 3) It was playing 200 yards to the pin.
I pulled 6-Iron and hit an absolute dime (High, 3 yard draw dispersion) right at the flag stick. We all knew it was going to be a great ball. It took a nose dive into the fringe roughly 194 yards, popped up and started rolling to the pin. Dropped and disappeared.
At 200 yards, it is very difficult to know whether or not your eyes deceive you. However, my two friends were cheering and screaming and encouraging me that what I thought could NEVER happen again to me, actually just happened. and only four months later from the first one.
Sure enough, we arrived at the green and there it was. A beautiful Titleist ProV1 ball sitting at the bottom of the cup. A 200 yard, 6-iron ACE delivered by a 10 handicap to now have (2) recorded at different holes.
Golf is the greatest game ever.
