I got my first hole in one on August 4th 2023 at Riceland golf course in Orrvile, Ohio. It was the very first hole we played, #10 154 yards. It was the first time my wife and I had been out this year. She doesn’t play much. So I get up to the tee, take a half a practice swing and step and and try to just make smooth solid contact. Luckily I hit my 9 iron a bit think because the ball landed about 10 feet in front of the pin and rolled in. It took me a second to process what happened. I then look over at my wife and she is digging balls and tees out of her bag. She didn’t see it. Luckily a kid from the pro shop and the group on #9 green saw it go in. It was pretty cool.
