Hey Team Titleist,
I want to share this incredible hole in one story with you all. It is a beautiful story about love, family and golf. It all started last year on October 1st, 2022 when my wife and I got married. Of course my bride, the ceremony and reception were beautiful. I wanted to get my groomsmen, father of groom and father of bride something equally as nice to show my appreciation for their support. One of their gifts they received was customized Titleist Pro-V1s with their name, relation to the bride/groom and our wedding date. The gifts were a huge hit! I managed to lose most of my golf balls but was smart enough to keep just one as a keep sake. Now my father-in-law doesn’t lose as many golf balls as me. He doesn’t play as much golf, hits it straighter and is well he’s blind. It’s beyond amazing to see him hit a ball. It’s special. Anyways, I mentioned to him at the beginning of the summer that I had used all my wedding golf balls. He gladly responded “grab a few of mine.” So fast forward to last Saturday, I’m teeing it up with a customized Ralph S. Father of Bride 10/1/2022 Pro V1 golf ball at my club. I stepped up to the 6th hole which is a down hill par 3. The flag was in the front right corner playing 176 yards, 171 adjusted. I grab my AP3 7iron and took a swing. The ball never left the flagstick. I yelled at the ball to “go in” and for the first time ever the ball listened. The ball flew directly into the cup on the fly. The sound of the ball rattling off the flagstick and in the cup is something I’ll never forget. My group erupted with joy. I was absolutely euphoric but in utter disbelief. I couldn’t believe this was happening and felt like the luckiest guy in the world—just like on my wedding day. Ralph’s ball, now my hole in one ball sits proudly in my office next to my wedding ball.
